Unnamed at first; from 1922 under the name KING, an abbreviation of Quality In Nothing Equaled . The De Vries family, the driving force behind Tonnema, also managed to get the candy loving Netherlands interested in the candy brand Rang.

To this day, every mint contains the image of Princess Wilhelmina of Orange-Nassau .
